I am really excited to have my first short story out on Amazon as an eBook for Kindle.  Even just buying my own copy of it (is that narcissistic?  I don't *think* it is...) was exciting.  Then with all of you sending me messages of encouragement and letting me know you have bought it or bought it for a friend...well, thank you so much for making my first day as a published writer extremely memorable!
