Sunday Surveys!

Well - the title sounds good!  Maybe I'll try to do one every week!

I'd like some feedback on just what you would like to read next.  I'm not going to start anything right away, but I'd like to have some ideas going forward.  Now is your chance to have some say in what comes out of my fingers when Unexpected Circumstances and Offside are complete!

Survey - new story ideas

  1. Human story please. I only read human stories. I'd love a story where either E or B are married to other people and cheat on their wife/husband. My kind of story!!!! hehe

  2. More "Judging Books", please :)

    All the best,
    Biena

  3. Please do the sequel to Surviving Bella. That ending you gave is with Carlisle watching them has me wanting more. But honestly, I will read anything you want to write.

  4. I'd love to see what you could do with What I want/Want No More....particularly from EPOV. He's just the right amount of Dom for me....mmmmm.

  5. more "Judging Books" perhaps?

  6. Me and Edward, screw Bella! Lol...

I think, what abt instead of Edward being possessive, it's Bella. See how Edward gonna handle that.

  7. It seems you surprise me enough when you come up with the ideas so I'm cool with that. I would love more "Judging Books" though.

  8. the sequel to surviving bella

  9. I love everything you write and I would welcome a continuation of JB or SB. I have to respectfully disagree with the above poster- I have a really hard time with stories that involve cheating on spouses. I have seen first hand in my extended family what effect that can have on families especially when there are children in the picture. Like Rob has said in interviews- why cheat? If a relationship isn't working then end it before starting another one.

I love stories that involve some communication via texts or emails- not sure why, and I also love stories that take place in the past- that is part of the draw of UC- it puts us in a totally different world then what is familiar to us.

Ok I know I am all over the place here but I would love reading a story branching out of want no more/wait no more. I would love some before and mostly after the encounter in the office..

    Have a great day!

  10. I personally am not a huge fans of sequels. I don't read them very often honestly. However, if you send Soccerward to Europe and have Bella follow him, I might be persuaded to change my opinion on that front ;)
Rambling story ideas: There is a story that sticks out in my brain that someone else on FF attempted but never finished and I was really into the topic because it was unusual. It was called The Sheik. It was fascinating and then fizzled out very quickly.
I also of like the idea of Bella being a Cougar - with E perhaps being a friend of a stepson entering college and B being married to a dud like Mike because she had to escape her rotten home life.
Another idea I have is based on my own grandparents love story. Where Bella is a nurse stationed in San Diego during WWII and helps E recover from an illness. Ping me if you are interested in the idea and I will share some details but I would prefer to do it privately because if you aren't interested I might decide to write it myself at some point.

Love your writing Savage! Thanks for keeping me entertained. ((hugs)) Ann a.k.a. Annichka

  11. I agree that I love stories written that are set in the past. I love how the difference in society where men are in charge and women are mostly in the background affects E and B's relationship.

I agree with the anonymous post above that I'd love to read a story where Bella was the possessive one. More cautious & moody and Edward more relaxed and like touchy-feely(lol)! With Ed as a vampire though as I love vamp stories and you'd be surprised how few there are in comparison to AH stories! Pwease!! :L :D

  12. you should continue Judging Books, it's one of the best ffs I've ever read, seriously..

  13. Ooh, top of my list would have to be a sequel to Surviving Bella. I'm not a huge fan of sequels, but for that I would definitely make an exception.

But if you prefer to do something new, then maybe a bodyguard story, or something like a cop going in search of a witness to a mob murder who's disappeared and he has to bring her back, but there are mob moles amongst his colleagues, so he can't trust anyone. Then they can't get to an airport so he takes her on a train - one of those ones which take 3 days to cross America and they have to share a sleeper .... you know where I'm going with that, doncha?!

  14. I would like more Judging Books and mbps a sequel to Surviving Bella!

  15. Oh, no cheating please! Can't handle those. I'm a love the one your with type of girl.

  16. Jasper/Alice, there are very few good stories with them!

  17. I love all of your stories, but Judging Books is my favorite one! It would be nice to read how it worked out for them....

  18. I would like to read Cleansing Bonds.

  19. I would like to read some angst Docward fic with pregnant Bella... My favorite! I would also like to read the sequel to Surviving Bella! I haven't reading Judging Books but if your doing a sequel to it can you give us a heads up as I would deff read the first one before you start posting the sequel. I love anything you write! I will read whatever it is!

  20. I would love, love if you wrote a continuation to Judging Books. I adore everything you have written, but JB is by far my fave :)

  21. K, so I may have changed my mind on sequels as I had to take some fucking advice from my fic-loving-sisters on this blog and start reading Judging Books. Umm, yeah. Pretty fucking great so far..

  23. I was very interested to read how the counseling helped Edward in CBWR? I would be glad to read an E/B story, focused on the counseling process. Thank you for the opportunity to give our suggestions!

  24. want no more! best one-shot i ever read, i would love to see it continue :) but i think anything you will write for us is gonna be soooooooo goood.. looking forward to it!

  25. Make Edward some like dark angle (max) and the Pretender Dolls house (all were TV series) and that Bella has a child/ sister/brother that she look after that is real smart and the goverment want him/her so Edward they to get to know them and take bella out but also get the child trust so that they will come with him. but keep bella young like early 20 and Edward 30s ( may be add if he still has his V-card) lol

or you could wright a story for want no more but keeping in Edward point of view any thing you wright i will read hope you like my idear :) good luck

  26. I love UC! I go crazy waiting for new chapters! I'm from Brazil, I do not know English and use google translator to read UC and Offside, transmit it to my friends. My suggestion is that you write the next history of the female point of view, as in UC, or maybe rotate between the views of Bella and Edward. Thanks Savage

  27. UC is probably one of the best period pieces I have read on ff. I would gladly read anything you write that's a period piece, and many times over like I have with UC. I anxiously await your next story...however I can't wait until the next update of UC either!!! =)

    ReplyDelete
  28. I would really love a sequel to Surviving Bella. That would be my first choice....But I've also been jonesing a really good some sort of vampward lately. So, a vamp Edward and human Bella story would be really good too. As for length in chapters, I love the short chapters because I can get regular fixing, but with longer chapters are so wonderful too. So, I can't decide...

    ReplyDelete
  29. love your stories and thank you for tapping into our thoughts and opinions! i'll read anything you've got to give, truly.

i love a good love/hate relationship that's founded on some good story-meat. i like how it adds another layer to how characters communicate and jump through hoops or "arcs" to finally get at the reality that they're feeling something big for each other. Also, it makes for amazing doses of UST.
I also love period fic, great settings and CEOwards. :)

    thank you!

  30. I don't know if the following plot had already been done in fics (but w/ my luck it probably was already done) but anyway:

Edward is a big-shot businessman who knows more than probably he should, making ALL local & international government officials wary of him (let's add terrorists as well to the mix). A classified group took upon its hands to protect him and who else should be assigned as his bodyguard but - Bella! Let's make Bella's capabilities here GREATER or at least at par with Angelina Jolie's "Salt" character.

    Parameters/Specs of the story:
    - totally EPOV
    - both Edward & Bella are virgins (though both tries SO HARD to keep those fact under-wraps from each other)
    - Edward is more approachable and friendlier than Bella
    - and yes, Bella IS the grumpy & emo one (w/c Edward never fails to point it out to her that it's all because of her *virginity*)
    - Edward is slightly older than Bella
    - emotional baggage? umm... Edward has none, Bella has, probably 20% (that leads her to the profession she currently has)
    - level of angst? um... i hope 20% to none! have you tried writing an almost "humor" fic? cos this plot bunny (if this is what it is called) is turning out to be an action/comedy...

Oh man! after having re-read what I had written it awfully, *loosely* resembles that TV series "Chuck!"

oh well... just throwing-out plot ideas for ya :) and THANK YOU for tapping into our minds, or at least giving us readers a chance to help you out on your next fic :D

    ReplyDelete
  31. More of "Want no more"?
Or maybe some mobward or detectiveward?
    I'm a fan of good crime-related fics :)

    ReplyDelete
  32. Could you please write an Edward that rides Harleys, has piercing and tattoos and maybe a Bella that is in the law enforcement field?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Not a fan of sequels.

I would enjoy older Bella , more mature E and B, CEOward, and definitely some angst.

Some possesiveWARD is always nice too. I wouldn't mind cheating as long as E & B end up together.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I really like daddyward and mobward :) probably together :)

    ReplyDelete
  35. More surviving bella please! Love to see what Carlisle thinks of the new Edward! Everything you write is great!

    ReplyDelete
  36. That is a toughie! I like what you write though I haven't started Offsides yet. RL is just getting all in the way of my fandom fun I tell you!!!!

Have to agree with a sequel to Surviving Bella. I just love your particular Edward there for some reason. Plus the ending just lends itself to a little more something, doesn't?

I liked the style, and of course content, of It Could Be Worse...that was a neat way to write and read that story.

All in all, I think all human, or if Edward is a vamp, maybe a darker vamp somehow?

But, really, if you write it, I'm probably going to read, you know what I mean?

    ReplyDelete
  37. I'm slowly (and happily) making my way through your stories, and have loved everything so far, but I think I'd like more JB the most. Loved Want No More/What I Want, too, though. Hell, I'd be happy to read anything you wrote, so just keep it up!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Please please, I really want to read a sequal to Surviving Bella!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  39. I always enjoy your angsty, darker edge & the uncertainty of how things will end, but also the humour you bring so would love your take on any of these all human/Epov/ExB:
Ann's Cougar Bella idea. Daddyward, arranged marriage, Policeward vs career criminal Bella, Cockyward forced to take a bottom rung role & earn his own money vs CEO Bella, Bankruptward has no clue how survive the unprivileged life--street hardened Bella literally saves his ass one night but is just passing through & doesn't want or need a dependent...especially one that will hinder the payback she's planning. Rumspringa Bella vs hungry Cowboyward lol :). Saloon owner Edward vs privileged Bella.
If you do.opt to go Vamps, then would enjoy human Edward/vamp Bella.

I can handle the angst of cheating as long as it isn't ExB on each other, but nothing kills my fic-boner deader than Jacob/Bella in any capacity.

I'm not a fan of sequels at all, but if you were going to extend any of your works, then I would beg for a continuation of Want No More & to find out what happened whilst away/how they pick up the lives they left behind.

Whatever you write is always great so maybe you don't need an idea, but a list of props you have to work into the story somehow like a cheese grater or a digeridoo O.O

I was thinking that the idea for the movie Heartbreakers sounds like it would be a fun fic to write. It's the one where Jennifer Love Hewitt and Sigourney Weaver play a mother/daughter con team. (Maybe Renee/Bella or even an Esme/Bella dynamic) It would be fun to mess around with fake names and situations where they almost get caught or maybe even recognized by past "con victims".
(If you don't really remember the premise of the movie the duo would fly into a city scout out the who's who of wealthy single men in the area and then con them into marrying one of them, then on the wedding night stage a scene with the other that makes it appear the new husband is a cheater. (Usually by slipping the groom a roofie in his post-wedding drink.) Of course this can be changed and manipulated to your liking.
On a different note.......I would like to tell you that I so admire your creativity and ability to tell an OUTSTANDING story. You have a true gift and I absolutely LOVE that you share your talent with all of us. I am a Savage addict and proud to admit it. I've enjoyed every fic of yours I've read. I also love that you include that shock value to each story, even if it makes my heart stop for a couple seconds. I will continue to follow you and read your work as long as you are willing to write it. :)

  41. Oh the sequel to Surving Bella sounds so good!!

But to be honest I will read anything you write,
I think you are the only author, that I have managed to read all there stories and not find one I did not like!!

In the survey I hit vamp Edward/vamp Bella, I always mostly stick to human fic's but I think you could do something special with both of them being vamp's!!

But as I said I will read anything whatever the outcome!!............Oh a daddyward....daddyvampward....oohhhhhhhh a baby left on vamp E and B's doorstep......I am shutting up now!!

  42. I would love the sequel to Surving Bella as i loved the story but anything you write will be great

  43. I've read through every comment and can't believe I'm the only one who would love a continuation to your one shot, "Same Time Tomorrow, Ms. Swan," winner of Best One Shot at the 2011 Sunflower Awards! It's CEO Edward and high priced escort (call girl), Bella. If you haven't read it, do it today. It's super hot with potential for much angst. I'm dying to know Bella's back story. Please, please, please? Thanks, Savage!

  44. as many mentioned....a sequel 2 surviving Bella. Takin a lil hint from The Haunted Airman here.....how about a SoldierWard who went to war young probably around the age 21 & was near fatally injured. He was deployed and sent bk home for treatment. Isabella Swan would then become his probably about 2-5yr older physical therapist. She jus broke off a 2yr relationship with another soldier, Jacob Black who cheated on her with her best friend blah blah so she has a bit of baggage. They meet, SoldierWard falls for her but she's very defensive of her feelings towards anyone now *soldiers especially* since she's only been in love once & had her heart broken. Some angst in there....and eventually she gets entangled in his web. You know how 2 handle these things Sav. But 1st priority 2 Surviving Bella or mayb evn Judging Books. If ur looking 4 a new story 2 start on then u cud mayb consider the idea above. Watevr u choose, I kno it'll be gr8!!!!
