Must be Spring!

I am wiped out after two full days of yard work.  I'm obviously about as out of shape as I can be, considering how sore my legs are tonight!  I think I need to start hitting the gym on a regular basis again.  *sigh*  I did get about 2/3rds of the mulch around the house, so hopefully I'll finish all that tomorrow!

Could be Worse, Right? Epilogue posted this morning!  It's always a little weird when I finish a fic.  I feel kind of lost, thinking there is something I ought to be doing, but I'm not doing it. Lots of people are asking "what's next?" and I really don't know just yet.  For a while, I will just focus on Unexpected Circumstances.

Speaking of UC, I have been working on it today - I literally had NOTHING for Chapter 23 this morning, but now I have a bit of a start, at least.  Chapter 22 is with the beta, and will post as soon as I get it back.  Patience!

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

  1. I know exactly how you felt with the yard work. I was never happier than when the rechargeable battery on our hedge trimmer died this Saturday. At that point I thought my arms were going to fall off. I remember that being a lot easier last year. I think I'm getting old. Wishing you a fabulous week :-)

  2. Just wanted to drop in to let you know that I read the Tsunami outtake of UC last night and, of course, just loved it. You have always had a real flair for EPOV and this was no exception and certainly no disappointment. So thanks - both for contributing to a cause which raised over $50,000 but also to doing it with such a great piece of writing. If only all charity could work this way! (Except I'd be skint lol!)

  3. Strangely, it is an adjustment for readers as well when a fic ends. You updated almost every day, so I miss the daily check in. That fic really hit my emotions. I do hope you post the UC outtake some day. I donated to Tsunami relief through another organization at my work so am not eligible for the stories.

  4. The entire Twilight fandom is buzzing about your fic because of Micheal Sheen reading from it. Congratulations! Its not everyday a fanfiction writer gets that kind of recognition!
